Wales

Small but mighty, Wales packs an incredible amount into a small space. Seek adventure in the mountains of Eyryi (Snowdonia) or the Brecon Beacons, head to windswept beaches in Angelsey or Pembrokeshire and explore one of the many castles or head to Cardiff, the vibrant Capital city.

Our experience in Wales

I lived in Cardiff for three years at university and have been returning annually (or more often)to Wales ever since.

We’ve road tripped through Wales many times, spent blissful weeks camping in Pembrokeshire, The Gower and North Wales and enjoyed weekends in Cardiff. Over the years we’ve climbed our fair share of mountains as a family and hiked miles of the Wales Coast Path.

We’d love to show you all that Wales has to offer.

Highlights

  • Climb Yr Wyddfa, Wales’ highest peak or try Llyn Idwal for lower level but equally epic mountain views
  • Visit Newborough beach and the lighthouse on the romantic island Ynys Llanddwyn.
  • Visit Skomer for the Puffin spotting trip of a lifetime
  • Try surfing, coasteering or kayaking along the Pembrokeshire Coast.
  • Ride the Fforest Coaster near Betws-y-Coed
  • Spend a day exploring eccentric Cardiff Castle and then head to Cardiff Bay for hands on fun at Techniquest sciene museum.
  • Kayak over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct before exploring lovely Llangollen.
  • Enjoy the seaside towns of St Davids and Tenby
  • Marvel at the coastal scenery of the Gower before heading to Swansea for fish and chips.
